Eye Discharge

Eye discharge occurs due to an infection or the entry of a foreign body in the eye. Red eyes, itching, burning sensation, watering, difficulty in vision, pain in the eyes, fever, headache, or a sore throat are associated symptoms.
Remedies
- The eyes must be cleaned several times a day with cotton wool soaked in boiled lukewarm water. While boiling, add a teaspoonful of turmeric powder to 250ml of water and boil for ten minutes. Strain and use the wager to wash the eyes.
- One teaspoonful of turmeric powder or the powder of the gum resin guggulu may be taken thrice a day with a cup of warm milk.
- One teaspoonful (5gm) of baritaki8 powder can be taken at night with not water.
Diet and regimen: Avoid yogurts, exposure to cold, rain and bright light.
