Healthy dietA healthy diet requires only simple planning and doesn’t have to mean deprivation and misery. Variety in your diet means choosing a number of different foods with in any given food group, rather than eating the “same old things” day after day. Healthy diet makes meals more interesting and helps ensure that a diet contains sufficient nutrients. An added bonus variety in the healthy diet, especially with in fruit and vegetable groups, is the inclusion of a rich supply of what scientists call phytochemicals. These substances are not absolutely required elements of the healthy diet. Still, many of these substances probably provide significant health benefits.

Some research mainly suggests that increasing variety in a diet can lead to overeating. We should have a separate attention over the total energy intake and it’s important to consider carefully. One way to balance your healthy diet as you consume a variety of foods is to select foods from the major foods groups every day. Some of them are listed below:

  • Bread, rice, cereal and pasta
  • Fresh Fruits
  • Vegetables
  • Milk, yogurt and cheese
  • Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs and nuts

Fats, oils and sweet can also be added to your healthy diet in moderation to increase its flavor and to help deliver certain nutrients, such as vitamins and fatty acid. So carefully follow healthy diet plan and enjoy the day with pure passion.
