Painful Menstruation

Pain usually occurs before the onset of menstruation or it may continue during the menstrual period pain in the back, thighs, lower abdomen, nausea, headache, sleeplessness, vomiting, and constipation are common symptoms associate with this.
Remedies
- Hot fomentation may be given to the lower abdomen.
- Taking one teaspoonful of the powder of baritaki with hot water before going to bed is useful.
- Taking three cloves of garlic cut in to small pieces, three times a day with hot water is advisable.
- One teaspoonful (5gm) of fenugreek powder may be taken three times a day with hot mild or hot water.
Diet and regimen: Heavy and fried food should be avoided. Rest and protection from cold and rain will help.
