Pomegranate in Herbal MedicinePomegranate is a shrub which grows to about 5 meters high, having pale brownish bark. The leaves are shiny green and the orange-red flowers attract the attention of the eye. The fruit is also as attractive as the flowers as it changes its color from green to a sun-kissed orange-red shade. The pomegranate fruit contains a large number of edible seeds and around each seed is a rose colored pulp which is sweet.
