ConjunctivitisConjunctivitis is an irritation over the eyes. In other word it is pinkish eye. The symptoms are redness, irritation, itching and possible discharge. The main cause of conjunctivitis is through bacteria, virus, and allergy and chemical substances. It may be also due irritation of contact lens. In the case of bacterial infection, doctor may prescribe antibiotic ointment or drops. The affected should follow the directions of the medicine. This helps with the healing method. Conjunctivitis due to cold virus will disappear itself after a days. Conjunctivitis is highly contagious, it may lead in to deep and severe eye pain, change in vision and extreme sensitive to light.
