Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder. It allows the person to deal with problems like food, weight, and body image. The symptoms of anorexia are loss of menstrual periods, lack of energy and weakness, feeling cold all the time, dry and yellowish skin, constipation and abdominal pain, restlessness and insomnia, dizziness, fainting, headache and growth of the hair allover the body and face.

Totally it will affect the whole life with the presence of anorexia in the human. They are not able to enjoy party, puberty, club and other amusement activities. It is important to treat anorexia nervosa. The main cause of a treatment is to restore the person for a healthy weight, treating the psychological issues and reducing or eliminating behavior or thoughts that lead to disordered and preventing relapse. Doctor has advised to people with anorexia to have healthy weight.

A person with anorexia can deal with nutritional counseling. A nutritionist or dietician advises the patient about healthy eating, proper nutrition and balanced diet. Thus helps to control anorexia nervosa. Counseling by doctor will help to erase negative thoughts, feelings about weight, difficult emotions, relationship problems and stress. Hospitalization may be preferred to this treatment. The focus of the treatment is to increase self-awareness, challenging distorted belief, improving self-esteem and sense of control. Family support and care will help to reduce anorexia a lot with effective.
