It will develop pain and mental disorder. It affects the body, mood and thoughts. The symptom of depression may vary from person to person. It will lead in to problems with concentration and decision making. Some people may affect with short term memory, negative thoughts, forgetting things all the time. People may feel sad without any reason. Totally it will affect the physical well-being.

Depression is not a good thing to be imposed in the body. If people think that, they might be depressed, see a psychologist as soon as possible. A psychologist will help to remove the stress and sadness. At first, the people are supposed to give counseling in knowing the facts about their depression. There are several ways to treat depression in a psychological way. Cognitive therapy is used to give optimistic ideas and thus help to decrease depression. It also aids to set positive goals in the life. Then problem solving therapy is used to control stress. And it will also help to solve the personal experience or family problems.

The period of treatment will vary from person to person according to the severity of the depression. Most people will have number of sessions for better recovery. Mild depression will treat in less sessions and more significant depression will require extended treatment. This may be scheduled according to the condition of the patients. Some individuals are supposed to be in hospitals for further treatment. Appropriate treatment assist depressed person to ease with stress and depression.

Family members may also take part in depressed person problems. This will help to relieve depression. They have to support them emotionally. One can take depressed person for walks, outings, to the movies and other activities. People can also engage them in religious, sports and cultural activities. But they should not force the person at any cost. With treatment and family support depressed person will feel better.
